THE STORY OF TANO, MY STORY
Tano Srls is me, Gaspare Franchetti, a young motorsport enthusiast who, at a very young age, leaves his hometown to follow love. In 1998, I set off alone to Argentina, with nothing. Only with my profession and the drive that youth gives me.
There, they start calling me "El Tano." At first, this annoys me. But over time, I realize it was a kind and affectionate way of referring to Italians emigrated to that country. And there I discover that there are many Tanos with many different stories. Years pass, and that nickname begins to grow on me, even making me proud, because it becomes a sort of badge of identity (Tano means "the Italian").
Life′s turns bring me back to Italy, but I carry with me much of that beautiful country. That′s why I felt that Tano had to be my name, in honor of all those Tanos who were unable to return. That′s why Tano Srls is much more than just a company name.
